ADVANCING THE GREATER GOOD

More than consultants. Partners in your mission.

Every nonprofit has a mission worth advancing. At AltruNext, we help nonprofit organizations build the leadership, fundraising, and strategic foundation needed to create lasting impact.

Whether you're preparing for your next chapter, navigating change, or growing your organization, we partner with you to build real solutions that help your nonprofit thrive.

WHY WE DO THIS

Our Story

AltruNext was founded on a simple belief: nonprofits deserve more than recommendations. They deserve a trusted partner.

AltruNext is a woman-owned nonprofit consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations grow fundraising, develop leaders, and build healthy, resilient organizations.

Over the years, we’ve learned that fundraising challenges rarely exist in isolation. Strong fundraising grows from thoughtful strategy, capable leadership, engaged boards, and healthy organizations. That’s why we take a holistic approach: connecting fundraising, leadership, governance, and organizational strategy to help nonprofits create lasting impact.

Today, we’re proud to partner with nonprofit organizations of all sizes, from grassroots initiatives to nationally recognized institutions, helping them maximize their mission impact.

OUR APPROACH

Every engagement begins with listening.

No two nonprofits are exactly alike, so we start by understanding your mission, people, culture, and goals.

Listen

We begin by learning about your organization, your challenges, and your vision for the future.

Understand

Before recommending solutions, we take the time to understand your leadership, fundraising, governance, and organizational priorities.

Act Together

Our role isn’t simply to provide recommendations. We work alongside your team as trusted partners, helping turn strategic ideas into action that creates lasting results.

OUR VALUES

What guides us matters.

Our values shape how we show up, how we partner, and how we approach every opportunity to advance the greater good.

Collaboration

The best work happens together.

Curiosity

We ask thoughtful questions before offering solutions.

Integrity

We provide honest guidance, even when it's difficult.

Flexibility

The sector and your needs are constantly evolving. So are we.

Creativity

Every organization deserves solutions shaped around its mission.

Optimism

Great things are possible when nonprofits are equipped to thrive.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

Strong organizations are built when people feel valued, respected, and heard.

At AltruNext, we’re committed to fostering a workplace and consulting practice where diverse perspectives are welcomed, relationships are built with respect, and every individual feels supported. As nonprofit consultants, we work to build a more inclusive nonprofit sector through both our work and our individual actions.

MEET OUR TEAM

Experienced professionals. One collaborative team.

AltruNext brings together experienced professionals with expertise in nonprofit leadership,  fundraising, communications, operations, and organizational strategy. We thoughtfully assemble the right team for each engagement, ensuring every client benefits from the experience and perspectives best suited to their goals. Together, we offer the depth of expertise of a larger firm with the personalized attention and collaborative partnership of a boutique consulting firm.

WHY ALTRUNEXT

Why organizations choose AltruNext.

Organizations come to us for expertise. They stay because of how we work together.

Honest advice

We’ll tell you what we see, including when the news is complicated. If a goal looks out of reach or a plan needs more time, you’ll hear it from us early — while there’s still room to adjust.

Collaborative partnership

We work alongside your staff and board rather than around them, and we explain our thinking as we go. When the engagement ends, the knowledge stays with your team.

Credentialed expertise

You work directly with credentialed consultants — CFRE-level experience across capital campaigns, fund development planning, board governance, and organizational strategy. The person you meet in the first conversation is the person doing the work.

Tailored plans

Every plan is shaped around your goals, your staffing capacity, and the donors you actually have. We’ve worked with organizations from all-volunteer startups to institutions with mature development teams, and the approach is different for each.

Whole-organization perspective

Fundraising rarely fails for fundraising reasons. We look at leadership, board engagement, and internal systems alongside the campaign itself, because those are usually what determine whether the goal is met.

Practical recommendations

You get clear priorities, realistic timelines, and next steps your team can act on — written in plain language, sized to your capacity, and ready to take to your board.
